Download the TAIGU App, register with your mobile number, complete required verification, top up your wallet and scan the QR code displayed on the e-bike to unlock it.

Where can I ride?

Ride only within approved UTAR operating zones. GPS tracking and geo-fencing help keep e-bikes within approved areas and away from restricted zones, including buildings.

Where and how should I park?

Park neatly only at a designated TAIGU parking area, confirm your location in the app and tap Return E-bike. Parking outside an approved TAIGU zone, including on roadsides, walkways or by building entrances, will result in a RM10 fine.

What if the battery is low?

TAIGU monitors battery levels and manages battery replacement and charging. Users must not charge or tamper with the battery.

What if the e-bike is damaged or unsafe?

Stop using it immediately. Report the e-bike number, location, issue and a photo where possible to TAIGU Support.

What should I do in an accident?

Put your safety first. Contact local emergency services if needed, then report the incident to TAIGU as soon as possible with the time, location and relevant details.

Is there insurance?

Eligible riders are supported by TAIGU’s third-party liability insurance when using the service in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. Coverage remains subject to the applicable policy terms and claim assessment. For general road safety guidance in Malaysia, see MIROS.

Submit your request through the TAIGU deposit-refund form. Processing follows account verification and settlement of any outstanding charges.
